Getting Started
CapBase is a static genomics resource for Capsella research. It brings together species pages, locus search, ortholog finding, genome browsers, synteny views, and a data portal for downloadable genome resources.
Main Functions
- Browse species pages for Capsella rubella, Capsella orientalis, and Capsella grandiflora.
- Search genes, TEs, and loci with species-specific Locus Search pages.
- Find homologs and orthologs with the Ortholog Finder.
- View gene and TE annotation tracks in Genome Browser pages.
- Inspect comparative genome structure with the Synteny Browser.
- Download genome assemblies, annotations, sequence files, and homolog/ortholog tables from the Data Portal.
Suggested First Workflow
Open a species page > Search a locus or open the genome browser > Review related annotations > Download matching datasets from the Data Portal when needed.
